I just bought a Penn 12 foot Surfmaster rod. Looks like a Penn Big Game Spinfisher. Are these the same rods or are they different. I know of a Penn Newport that is similar to the Spinfisher with the exception of the Fuji eyes. Is the Surfmaster just a low end Spinfisher like the Newport? I noticed a sticker on the butt that says made in china. I thought all Penn products were made in the USA. Do you all think I got screwed? I still have the receipt and the retailer said I could return it if I changed my mind. I would hate to think that somebody is putting the Penn label on a piece of crap. What do you all think?
