Got this one in 2018 near New Drum Inlet... went 48. I don't typically share
photos but this fish took me a few years to figure out. Still looking for that
50+ though!

My son, Robbie Snyder, has been trying to catch his first
citation for 15 years. This past weekend he said it was going to happen. We
fished through the night and finally got a big one. The fish was 42 inches. We
had to fight though the sharks and lose some sleep, but it was worth it.

April 20 was a good day!!
Fishing a slough near 39 on April 20th, light tackle, 15# test line. Get a big
hit on a rod in a holder and grab it quickly, only to assume that I’ve hooked
one of those huge skates. Fight it for maybe 10 minutes before seeing a gigantic
tail break through a wave.5-10 minutes later, thanking the Lord for a perfectly
set drag, I get him on the beach and the line breaks immediately. Go to lift him
with the rig and with very little pressure it breaks too! 15 pound drum a little
later. Several nice mullet. A good day indeed!
