Thanks for posting. I research water/structure quite a bit. Plus, with all the aerial-view technology available now, there’s so much more to consider and test once on the island. I try not to over-think surf fishing but luck will only take you so far. It’s a very challenging sport/hobby if a person wants to really get serious about being able to catch fish, especially when things are slow out there. Most trips are fixed months in advance and whatever the conditions are when you get there sometimes require opening the notebook and trying all kinds of stuff and doing it in structure locations that don’t always make sense. Surf fishing is awesome because the fisherman’s “fishfinder” isn’t electronic. It’s about knowledge, experience, and lots of paying attention and want-to.
