Got over around 5pm on Wednesday (03/31). Fished a few spots while heading south. Caught some nice sized mullet (12" & larger) and decent sized bluefish around MM 33 or 34. Packed up and headed to south end ahead of the coming storm. Next day went to jetty. Caught a few black drum, more large mullet, nice sized blue fish, toad fish, (1) 18" pompano and a guy that was fishing with us caught a 25"/26" red drum. Next day moved to the ocean side of the point and there was a huge beautiful hole when filled in at high tide. Caught (3) more black drum ranging from 19" to 23", several slot red drum with them all being between 25"-27" and (2) sheepshead. After basically two days of fishing we ended up with our limit of reds, (4) black drum, (2) sheepshead, (1) large pompano, (11) toad fish, (15) mullet (all over 12" with many being around 15" to 17"). Also forgot to mention that the first fish i caught when we got over on Wednesday late afternoon was a 16" flounder. Caught a few more flounder and many bluefish the entire trip.
