Drum stew with a Piedmont twist. Cleaned out the garden today ahead of the winter storm. Last of the broccoli and tiny Brussel sprouts. Potatoes, onions, and home canned tomatoes. Starting with bacon and onions. Adding potatoes, tomatoes, and red drum filets. When the potatoes are almost done, will add the brussel sprouts and broccoli and simmer until they get barely tender. Finish with Texas Pete and butter. Crusty Italian bread for sopping. Life is good.
