There are many rigs pictured on the internet that are referred to as the old drum rig where the sinker is crimped below the swivel. the problem with that rig is when the fish takes your bait he has feels the weight of the sinker where as the rig I linked the line slides through the weight and the fish does not feel the weight he can freely pull line as he swims off the weight is still on the sand
