Thanks for all the great info Devin. Have you had any problem with the plastic sliders breaking on the cast using heavier sinkers like 8 oz. I know some that won't use them because they will break on a hard cast. I like the idea of those type of slides but would like to find some that are heavy duty enough to withstand casting with 8 oz sinker
