Brined shrimp. Peel and cut in size you fish with. Use pickling salt or kosher or plain. Put in plastic bag and salt it well and shake it up to cost well. Lay out on a paper towel in the sun for 30 minutes to dry and brine. Put in freezer and use next trip. Will last for as long as you want. Any left after your trip,place it back in the freezer. Mullet can be used as well. If you use fresh mullet fishing and after a few days it gets mushy,cut and salt well and keep in your cooler. It will harden and stay on your hook. o
