Saturday the seas were still rough from Lee, fishing was definitely slow due to surf conditions. Road south and fish a hole at 35 then was stopped at mm42 by rangers and they said the water at the lighthouse was 5’ deep I. The backroad so the whole south end was closed at 42. We managed to catch some bait and fished just north of the cabins for a while and retired. Sunday seas were a little better we fished north of cabins and caught a slot drum and a few large blues. Monday seas were right for drum but the bite was slow, bumped into junior and said hello, great to meet friends on the island. He shared some cut bait with us and we fished that evening catching 3 over and a slit one was 48” and one 37. Total trip was great and we ended up with 10 drum and 10 blues. I was happy with the blues as they were all over 24” and fat. Tight lines till next time.
