Hey Junior, here's some more suggestions. Cut cutting boards that fit inside the cooler on the upper lip. Also cut a piece of Yoga mat (closed cell foam) to go on top of the ice.
Screw a piece of 3/4 foam inside the top/lid of the igloo, and put another one under the cooler on your rack. Let that insulation you're putting on the top overlap the seam between the lid and side because rain water will track that lid and go into your cooler. Nice warm rain water, YUCK !
Go to hardware store and get some 1/4 inch round rubber insulation like you put around doors and glue that under the lid to stop wind and rain.
Now you have a poor man's Yeti!
Enjoy. I can get two weeks our of a cooler of block ice.
