yes the whale is still on the north end and he stinks, also the park service has closed the whole north end off because of some endangered birds has hatched and they move back and forth from the water. he said it could be 3 days or 3 months (as of last week) before they would open it back up. they usually have had shrimp at the ferry but you might want to call ahead and check to make sure that thay still do or the 101 produce stand between cherry point and the BP station, he opens about 6.30 am or just pull up in the driveway and blow your horn. havent heard of any spanish yet.I am going down friday morning on the 7.00.cream color RV with the hardees chairs on the front..good luck and hope this helps... gaterman
