Mr. Breath, I agree with your wife for one reason. If you are near the point and the winds get up, you have a couple of options that may allow you to fish anyway. For instance, if the wind is from the north or northwest, you can fish on the spit side (gunmounts, rocks) and have a little protection from the dunes. If it is from the south or southwest, you can go out to the other side. Good fishing can be found everywhere, and if you will be travelling and working sloughs, Id get in the middle somewhere. Maybe well see you - well be down Oct 12-19. Good luck!
