I just found your board a couple of days ago, trying to find out just how bad it was. Im from the north central part of the state, and watched on radar as the eye passed across our fragile barrier islands.
Been going to PI for the last 7 years, but never had a chance to experience Davis. What struck me when I read here was your concern, your compassion, and you willingness to help those in real need.
When a storm like that comes ashore, few understand how it affects individuals whose livlihoods are the islands and how much of a service and a frienship they provide for us.
Someday, I hope to meet each and every one of you on the beach. Its a part of what its all about. Take care all and God bless.
