Right on the money with braid. It is expensive compared to mono. Works great with spinning reels. . Knots are a little tricky at first. Practice some before you go. With some applications, you can tie it right to your lure/tackle. The diameter is smaller so you can go up in test pounds on your main line. For throwing heavy weights, I still like mono and a shock leader
