I asked a similar question a while back and decided to try Power Pro. I put it on 2 spinning reels and I’m glad I tried it. It worked extremely well and I will continue to use it. In my opinion, it cast’s longer, lasts longer, and gives you a direct feel to the fish because it doesn’t stretch like mono. You do have to know your knots and not over spool which helps to eliminate wind knots. I still use mono on my casters and for shock and leader material, but I’m a convert to braid. It’s a better mouse trap for some circumstances.
