I still like mono too! However I see why others like to you braid line. the only thing that I absolutely hate about braid, is that if someone is not paying attention to their line and it drifts over into someone else line the knots that braid makes are almost unbearable to get out. I simply cut the braid off my mono every time someone gets it tangled with mine. Takes up to much time to untie it and man does it make a knot. My buddy uses it and I tell him every trip "if you get that darn line mixed up in mine then I'm cutting it no questions asked"! the braid is a very slim and strong line that makes powerful knots but if it gets tangled you might as well cut it off and re-tie.
