Just came off this morning. We had a good trip with a fair amount of fish. Caught a bunch puffers, whiting and blues on Thursday. Two slot drum 19.5" & 24" were caught also plus a couple of nice black drum. Friday was fruitless. Kept looking for drum or puffer holes and just found skates. This was mostly the west side of the point headed towards the jetty. The fish that we were targeting just seemed to be around at high tode. Everything we caught of substance was an hour or two around high. Some nice blues, mostly ocean side close to the point. Saturday started with a 33" blue and a 26" red within 30 minutes of each other for my best fish of the trip. We ended up eating a mess of puffers and blues twice and have lots of red and black drum to take back. The mullet that we bought on Tuesday at a Asian market in Charlotte still caught a 20" red yesterday morning.
