Well... it looks like that buoy is in the sound - not accurate for the surf. I don't think it's that warm in the surf. I go to the Rutgers Hatteras website, but it can have bad pictures for days at a time.

When it's a good satellite picture it's the most accurate source I've found. Someone put a surfline link up here that was totally inaccurate.
