Wind was blowing 30MPH from the northeast when we got there. The water was way to rough on the Atlantic side. Went down south to the area between the cape and the Jetty which was somewhat sheltered from the wind. Water was fairly calm. I was amazed that 3 ounces would hold bottom there After seeing what the ocean looked like on the other side. Fishing was not great by any means, but caught a bunch of skates and dogfish. Also several big pigfish or hogfish (can't remembver what they are called). Caught a 2.5 foot bat ray and a couple of spot there as well. I was just thrilled to be able to fish in that weather.
