My brothers and i pulled different popups on the island for quite a while. One was an older heavier model. I put larger sized tires on it and still had room for larger tires. the other was a newer model with smaller tires. It was a little harder to pull with the standard tires but it still made it ok. I would change the sring arrangement and put larger tires on yours if it a newer model. Just remember when in soft sand , don't apply the brakes suddenly.
