Well, we made it back after another great experience in Paradise. Got in on Wednesday and it was blowing about 30 knots. By 4:00 or so the rain was blowing sideways, so we had plenty of time to get everything set for the next day. Thurs - water was murky and fishing slow. Fri - got better as water cleared and Sat it was not so bad. Weather was beautiful after Wednesday. All in all we got about two dozen keeper flounder (a good many more released) a bunch of toads, two specs, and I think we set a world record on skates. Observations: we never went north of the cabins, but the south road is great, cutting considerable time off the trip to the point - a couple of decent low water holes yielded flounder, mostly between the weather vane and the lighthouse - there is a little pool on the east side of the point that should yield some, but there were too many pyramids covering it by the time we discovered it - the rocks are socked in with sand, but if you can walk way out to the end of the bar, there are specs available. I saw a boat pulling them in right and left, and it was the closest boat to shore. Rangers looked in our coolers at least three times-more than ever before. We were glad that we had released those 14 7/8 inch flounder, and believe me that is hard to do.

Nice to have met you, Hillbilly, glad you got home safely. Best of luck to all of you. I guess the season is up for me. Maybe it is time to get a boat!
