Went across on the 7 am friday and went up towards the north end.... moved around several places and then settled down for the weekend.... cold and windy, sand blowing everywhere....caught about 20 black drum friday and sat averaging 2-5 1/2 lbs each..several red drum, one 28in, one 22in, one 19in and lost one about 32-33in. threw back several small ones about 17in....one trout about 18in, one toad (puffer)...about 50 skate and sharks....grass was kinda bad at times and it was bitterly cold fri night thru sat night but we still had a great time as always...caught most of the fish on fresh shrimp except for the trout. caught it on cut mullet that we got from happyhooker and her husband...great folks and thanks for the extra ice...hope we can run up with you again....thanks as always to the awfc crew, sure hated to say good bye....really gonna miss everyone a lot...plan to be back again in the spring...I will send pics when I finish the roll of film....good luck, happy holidays and God bless.....gaterman
