Thurs.May 6 - Set up camp on the south end/south wind. Couple of small blues and a nice 5-6# sheephead on shrimp.
Fri.May 7 - Stayed south, caught several 1-2# blues on metal out on the shoals, fished tide in in a nice hole below #42, 1# pompano, couple real nice mullet, i had something big get on mine that i fought for about 2hrs and a mile down the beach.
Sat, may 8 - wind changed to north then east, dirtied up the water, caught an 8lb and 12 blue, decent runs with sharks, (5 body-3tail/notch and black edges)
Sun. May 9 - moved to north end (had to see it once), flat above the big wash over (looks like a field of moon rocks) nice bank and trough about midway to camp. Found another nice hole, lots of sand fleas, caught several nice mullet on them, several shark runs.
Came home Mon. morn. Great trip, great weather, decent fishing for spring. One of the only trips i remember that no one caught a drum.
