I paid $25 at a pawn shop last year for a Penn Peer 309 on an old True Temper tuna rod (oak handle)...short and little stubby rod.

Ebay shows the #9 reel selling for around $20-30 depending on condition....Last time I checked on those old fiberglass tuna rods they were going for around $15-20.
