I hope you have a depth finder on your boat because you need to find deep water surounded by shallows, Cobia like to lay in wait and let the current bring them food. Chum and then Chum some more. Fresh Menhaden, find a fish house and buy 50 pound boxes use one per day. Use a drum rig but with longer leader about 3 feet of 100# test.Look in Silver Lake for Norman Miller, his boat is the Rascal and ask him for suggestions on the best holes.
