Just got home from a beautiful weekend on the island with my
girlfriend. We caught mullet and blues Friday afternoon around 36. Water is prettier near 36 than 33.
Caught some spots, croakers and trout Saturday morning there before the skates took over.
Moved to the south point to see the lighthouse and fish the point. Hooked up with
Bob and Kim and their son and a friend. The boys caught a couple of big blues 8-10 lbs. while we adults settled in for a rook game and some margarittas
I caught another blue Sunday morning that weighed 11 pounds and was 38 inches long and skinny.
Cant give you a night fishing report because I never left
the comforts of the camper. Thats one big difference between fishing with the girlfriend and the guys. We had a great trip as usual and hope TN and NC truck gets back up and running soon, we missed you guys but had fun!!!
