Our first visit to the island was a challenge due to the wind. After learning the curve on tire pressure, the Cushman did well for what it is. I wish to thank Mike, and the AD Team from High Point, who pulled us out of the sand holes. Everything that I was told worked well when pertaining to camping. I should have asked more questions about the fishing. Very limited success when it came to fishing. Just didnt want to chance testing out the Cushman on a twenty mile drive through the sand. The hospitality was great. Everyone we met was open and friendly and made our short stay a very pleasant one.
Our hats are off to the AWFC group for they went beyond the call of duty to make sure our first trip was a good one. This alone will keep me returning in the fall.
My next challenge is to talk our wives into making the next trip with the men folk. For all of you who help in some manner or not We wish to thank each one of you for making our visit a pleasant one. Hope to see you all in the Fall.
