To set the record strait,you can get a DWI on the Island. Acording to the park service, any rule that applies on state maintained roadways, applies to the Island. Until recently visitors of the Island have had a carefree, relaxing, and BS free environment to enjoy. Most of the RULES that apply to the main land have remained there, where they should. It truely dosent matter where you go, you have got to put up with rules and regulation. Folks, be carefull when navigating on the Island. We have got a Sawed off, Yankee and a Barney Fiff look alike, for Park Rangers. Despite their goofy looks, their really tough characters. Kinda like John Wayne toilet paper, their not taking any !@#$ off anybody. Just keep this in mind while your on the island. Mind your manners and have a good time while your on the island, dont let a couple of bad apples spoil something you have been enjoying for years. Tight Lines
