Well a got over Saturday morning and was going to do some work on the truck and then do some fishing. Did the work on the truck and some folks stopped by and they were coming from the southend and said that there wasnt much going on down there. So we decided to hole hop to the north end. We stopped and fished every hole that someone else wasnt in. NO luck at all some we got to the north end at low tide. The green heads were not to bad so we decided to stay there no matter if we didt catch anything. Didnt get a bite all afternoon. Fixed a steak and went back to fishing about sun down and after going to over between 14 years at Porthmouth and Core Banks the last six years I got the big one that I had given up on. I caught a 47 inch long and 27 inches around the girth RED DRUM. So after helping some friend get theirs in and some folks I didnt even know land theirs. I got mine after twenty years of trying. So tight lines to everyone and sorry for the long post but didnt have any other fish to talk about. Thanks to the AWFC gang yall are the best, see yall on the 25th.
