Alcohol makes bad fishing good.
Why is that guy walking up into the dunes to take a leak?
When the fish aren't biting smart fishermen eat, drink and relax and use binoculars to watch with amusement other fishermen working themselves to exhaustion. Then when the fish start biting they're tanked and ready to go.
I saw a cooler or two plus some other stuff laying on the beach like it had been left behind or fallen or a truck. Should I take it to the caretakers or leave it alone? I left it, but I bet the steeeenking leeeeetle theeeef got it. I bet he got the waders too. He probably has a thriving business selling used fishing gear on ebay.

After 5 days on the beach I drove down the highway and realized I was only doing 55 mph - and it felt like I was going fast! Weird! I had to force myself to do 70.
My single biggest regret for the whole trip was not having a fish to give the pelican. Somebody drove by and scared him off before I could reel one in. I bet it was the steeeenking leeeeetle theeeef cruising for gear.
