Tournament
filled up faster
than ever

Thanks a lot

The DIFF Club wants to thank the following members and businesses for their donations to this year's tournament. Without them the tournament wouldn't be what it is.

Hefner Plumbing, Charlotte; Daniel B. Hefner Plumbing, Charlotte; and Bingham Hefner Plumbing, Mooresville.

The DIFF Surf Fishing Tournament filled up the fastest this year than it ever has before. The tournament is limited to 135 entrants, and the cap was reached in late June. Usually the last slots aren't filled until August.
No major changes are planned for the tournament, which starts Thursday, Sept. 30, on Davis Island. It ends that Saturday.
Contestants will once again compete for $6,100 in prize money in six categories
¾ red drum, flounder, bluefish, whiting and two species that will be chosen on the island before the tournament begins. Cash prizes will be awarded to the five largest fish in each category.
We also will be giving away some pretty nice prizes, such as an aluminum rod rack, a cooler, waders, and an eye exam and sunglasses. The winner of the Honda generator also will be chosen at the end of the tournament. You don't have to be present to win.
Alger Willis Fishing Camps Inc. will once again provide lunch for all contestants on the tournament's last day.

All that we have in the end are the people
we touch. Not money, not fame, not strength, not thoughts.  Just the people we touch. We have all been touched, and will continue to carry the light of MacRyan in our hearts.  And in our hearts he will rest with love forever.
Mac Ryan is alive .... and simply sailing towards another shore with God.
