3 N.C. spots make the list of
nation's clean beaches
WASHINGTON -- Sixty-two
beaches in 12 states -- including 3 beaches in North Carolina -- have
made this year's list of the Clean Beaches Council, a non-profit group
that identifies the best spots during the summer season. The
group releases it list of top beaches today in North Carolina,
California, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Texas,
Michigan, Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. The N.C.
beaches are North Core and South Core Banks on the Cape Lookout
National Seashore and Shackleford Banks. |
